This Privacy Policy describes how Promptive ("we," "us," or "our") handles your information when you use the Promptive mobile application and any related services (collectively, the "Service").

We want to be crystal clear: Promptive is designed with your privacy as a top priority. We collect minimal information necessary to provide our service and prioritize your privacy above all else.

What Information We Collect

We collect only the minimal information necessary to provide our service:

  • Email Addresses: We collect email addresses when you provide them for account creation, support requests, or newsletter subscriptions. This helps us provide customer support and keep you informed about important updates.

What We DON'T Collect

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do NOT collect:

  • Your Prompts or User Input: We do not collect, store, or have access to any prompts you create, text you input, or content you work with. All your prompts and interactions remain completely private on your device.
  • Analytics or Usage Data: We do not use analytics tools or collect data about how you use the app, which features you access, or your usage patterns.
  • Personal Information: Beyond email addresses when voluntarily provided, we do not collect names, phone numbers, physical addresses, or other personal identifying information.
  • Location Data: We do not collect any information about your geographical location.
  • LLM Interactions: When you use credits to interact with premium LLMs, we do not store or review the content of these interactions. Your prompts and the LLM responses are processed transiently and not saved by Promptive.

How We Handle Payments (via Stripe)

While we don't collect your personal data, we do use Stripe for processing credit purchases within the app. Please note the following:

  • We do not process or store your payment card details. All payment information is handled directly by Stripe.
  • When you make a purchase, your transaction is subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We encourage you to review these documents on Stripe's official website to understand how they handle your payment information.
  • We receive only a confirmation from Stripe that a transaction was successful, allowing us to credit your in-app balance. This confirmation does not include any personal payment details.

Why We Don't Collect Data

Our commitment to not collecting user data stems from our belief in providing a truly private and secure experience. This approach means:

  • There's no user data for us to accidentally expose or for malicious actors to steal.
  • We can't be compelled to hand over user data to third parties or governments because we simply don't have it.
  • You can use Promptive with peace of mind, knowing your activity remains yours alone.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
